With personal experience arranging start-up capital, hiring key personnel, and arranging internal compensation structures for OrthoSupply Management LLC, John Hallal assists clients beginning in the earliest stages of entity formation. From his time as Vice President of Business Development for Rehab Medical Holdings, Inc., and OrthoRehab, Inc., John Hallal also possesses hands-on experience helping a company grow its distribution lines and product offerings.
John Hallal and his associates offer expertise in drafting a variety of commercial contracts, including those with consumers, distributors, joint venture partners, and vendors. As a former partner in a prominent Boston and D.C. law firm, John Hallal also shares his personal knowledge of how best to create and implement strategies to protect companies’ intellectual property. He has a strong track record litigating trade secret, non-compete, and non-disclosure agreements, with success in obtaining injunctions and judgments at trial.
John Hallal assists high growth companies with balancing their staffing needs with potential employees’ existing agreements with former employers. He also enforces covenants against departing employees and prevents corporate raids of intellectual property. If a company’s leadership decides to sell its operations or to acquire new ones, John Hallal can assist in those business transactions as well. Currently a member of Boston Harbor Angels, a group of informal investors, John Hallal leads due diligence efforts regarding future investments for the organization.
As Managing Director of Network Blue, Inc., he provides consulting to businesses regarding mergers and acquisitions, growth, marketing, and financing strategies. Furthermore, John Hallal and the professionals at Acceleration Law Group have helped companies maximize the value of their intellectual property through licensing agreements and assisted businesses with technology transfer during spin-offs. Named an Adjunct Professor at Babson College, John Hallal will teach a course in mergers and acquisitions in spring 2011. For the past six years, John Hallal has volunteered as a Coach for Andover Little League baseball and has supported Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Boston.
